Minus thirteen degrees
Apparently, it was that cold last night.& I slept with the window open & didn’t even get cold. Funny thing that, I’m usually cold during the day but at night I can sleep quite alright in just underwear.
No joke but a tramp just peed on my bus! Then started smoking weed. Bus driver kicked him off and this couple from the next stop sat in his seat saying it smelt. Got to love Ashton.
Jasmine Cornthwaite, Facebook.
Now if this doesn’t tell you enough about where I live, I don’t know what else to say.
Snow!
It’s not sticking though because of the rain earlier D:
annakoshka asks: Totally agree with you there. Manchester has a unique thing about it that i just love :))
Wholeheartedly agree.
To get this picture I had to walk up a bazillion stairs inside some university building in the centre of Manchester. The fact it was so incredibly hot didn’t help either.

Manchester has the highest number of children living in poverty in the UK. The charity Save the Children say 27% of the city’s children live in “the most severe poverty” with Liverpool and Blackpool also in the top 10.
Granada Reports [my local ITV news].
Paints a lovely picture of the North West. It’s odd too, as apparently us Mancunians have a higher standard of living than those living in London.
Just messing around.
Insignificant
Tonight was alright. Went to a few clubs in Manchester with some friends. It’s a first for me, partially because I’ve never been invited before, partially because I don’t have a great deal of money: no income whatsoever.
After paying three quid to get into 5th Avenue, & spending only two pounds on a drink, I felt quite ill, so had to abandon my friends & call it night at only eleven or so. Pretty pathetic to be honest, but it wasn’t my scene much, & that Strongbow tasted awful for some reason. I couldn’t afford to keep up the drinking anywho, far too expensive.
Found myself wandering back to Picadilly Gardens alone. Probably a bit intoxicated, my mind wanders to issues. Sitting at the bus stop thinking about how naff not having enough money is, amongst other things, I notice the homeless person sitting opposite. How insignificant are my problems?
Lots of unidentified smoke around Beetham Tower today.
Found some new places on the way to town today.
Taken in Clayton Vale, bordering on the city centre.
I didn’t know Manchester had a Venicesque quarter.
I’ve only just learned of Critical Mass recently & that they do one in Manchester on the last Friday of every month. This month’s is tomorrow, & since I’m still in Norfolk, I’m going to miss it, but I’m so going next month :D
