Goldfinger,
He’s the man, the man with the Midas touch.
A spider’s touch.
Such a cold finger.
Beckons you to enter his web of sin,
But don’t go in.
Golden words he will pour in your ear,
But his lies can’t disguise what you fear.
For a golden girl knows when he’s kissed her,
It’s the kiss of death,
From Mr Goldfinger.
Pretty girl, beware of his heart of gold,
This heart is cold.
I am definitely not listening to the Goldfinger theme on cassette
Was listening to this just earlier in fact. Not on cassette though.

One of my favourite film intros.
James Bond
Provides a paradox for the stereotypical film:
The bad guy cannot be British.
Another ringer with the slick trigger finger for Her Majesty.
Another one with the golden tone voice and then your fantasy.
Another bill from a killer turned a thrill into a tragedy.
Jack White/Alicia Keys - Another Way To Die.
Currently watching: Quantum of Solace.
I know it’s not the best Bond film, by far. Still, it’s on TV.

Do you expect me to talk? |

No, Mr Bond, I expect you to die. |

Currently watching: Die Another Day, the only Pierce Brosnan Bond film I enjoy.
For the first time, on Sunday I went to the cinema by myself.
All of my friends had seen Skyfall with different people already, so I didn’t have much choice really. My uncle goes to the cinema by himself all the time, I find it a bit weird, but it wasn’t so bad. Noone to share my [probably annoying] witty commentary every five seconds with D: It was a bit of a spur of the moment thing, but I don’t regret it because it turned out to be the last showing of the film at the Commodore in Aber!
Anyway, it was brilliant. Full of loads of little references to prior films [such as the DB5], touchingly sentimental & a with a modern take on a old-school slightly wacky villain. Great stuff, might be a new favourite Bond film.
Skyfall by Adele.
This is the end,
Hold your breath and count to ten,
Feel the earth move and then,
Hear my heart burst again.
Currently only ten pence on Amazon, it’d be criminal not to.
