There are certain compsci students in 3rd year (I won't name names) who are pretty open about their anti guild attitudes.

I can see where you’re coming from, & I don’t think that generalisation is to blame. I know people who feel that way, & I’m sure there are people outside the computer science department who do too, for different reasons [this is the first return on Googling his name]. As a computer science student, I don’t feel that email spoofing is much beyond the capabilities of a layman, but my reckoning probably wouldn’t be accurate. Seems a bit sloppy.
