That I cannot wait until I get back to university.
Eventually sort of sorted out a place. It’s slightly out of town - on Cliff Terrace - but it’s not impractical. £85/week without bills, which seems steep, but it’s only an eight month contract - perfect, I don’t have to pay even half-rent for the unused summer months!
What’s more, for the first time in my life, I get a room to myself & a double bed. I’m nearly twenty & have shared a room my entire life. People who have had their own room & privacy their entire life: you don’t know what you’ve got - appreciate the heck out of it. I cannot wait until I have my own room & some space to myself.
I also look forward to having the ability to whatever the heck I want again. I like going out for cycles at two in the morning. I look forward to doing that again. I’m probably going to take my fixie back to Aber with me too. Probably going to die on those hills, but I couldn’t go back to my old bike these days - it feels so heavy & its stance is so unaggressive.
Being able to eat what I want, when I want. Heck, go out with friends, drink lots of cider, play drinking games & meet new people.
I can’t wait.
